I’m Maggie, the “almost full time” hygienist. I qualified in 1998 (a late starter!), from the Royal London Hospital, linked with Queen Mary’s College. My hobbies are bungee jumping which translates into keep fit exercises in my living room – much to the annoyance of my neighbours – and knitting (I really must get out more!). I have been with the practice for as long as I care to remember, and am told I’m a little mental, but very gentle.
Jo here - that's me on the right in the photo. I trained at Guys and Kings hospitals in London, but originally I'm a Devon girl, though I've been living in London for six years now. I love interacting with patients and there's enormous job satisfaction for me helping people to improve their oral hygiene and to see them happier as a result. When I'm not in the surgery you'll find me out cycling and running - I do lots of half marathons and completed the London Marathon in 2005. |
